The Liveaboard Club

Privacy

We collect what we need to book your trip, and nothing to sell on.

What we collect

Your name and email when you contact us or join. Certification level, dive count and dietary or medical notes when a booking requires them. Payment details for membership are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.

Why

To answer your enquiry, to make and manage your booking with the operator, and to run your membership. Nothing else.

Who we share it with

The vessel operator you are booking with, because they need it to carry you. Stripe, to process membership payments. Our email, hosting and AI assistant providers, as processors under contract. We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertisers.

The assistant

Questions you type into the assistant are sent to our AI provider to generate an answer, and are kept only long enough to improve the answers. Do not type passport numbers, card details or medical records into it: use the contact form for anything sensitive.

Analytics and cookies

The site works without analytics cookies, and they stay off unless you accept them in the banner. You can change your mind by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: write to contact@liveaboardclub.com and we will action it within thirty days. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR rights apply to you in full.

How long we keep it

Booking records for seven years, because tax and liability rules require it. Marketing consent until you withdraw it. Enquiries that never became bookings, two years.

Last updated 2026-08-24. This page describes how we intend to operate. Have a lawyer in your operating jurisdiction review it before you take real bookings.

Request dates

Tell us which departure

We check the cabin with the operator and come back with a written price the same working day. Nothing is charged now.
